We recognize the courage it takes to bring concerns forward, and we seriously consider all reported concerns. You can report a concern related to a violation of VMware policy or the law, or ask a question, via email or mail. If you prefer, you may also report the matter 24/7, 365 days per year through etica, VMware’s ethics helpline, which is administered by an independent company.

Where permitted by the law of your country, reports may be made anonymously through our ethics helpline. It is helpful to our investigations team if you provide your name and/or an e-mail address when submitting a report so we may contact you if we have any follow-up questions or need additional information. If you prefer to remain anonymous, we will still investigate your concern. If you choose to remain anonymous, then any follow-up contact will be sought through etica.

After the reported concern has been received by VMware, an acknowledgement of receipt will be sent within 7 days. If the report contains sufficient information, we will investigate the matter promptly through trained personnel following our standard investigation process within a reasonable timeframe. All reported concerns are treated confidentially, and we take appropriate steps to protect the interests of all involved persons.

An update on the concern will be shared in accordance with the law of your country. Once the investigation is completed, we will decide if any further action is needed.

VMware strictly forbids any retaliation against any person who reports a concern in good faith.
